Kanor Driving School was established in April of 1995. The essential obligation of our business is simple, to bring our customers the best driving education we can offer. At our school student learning is our highest priority. Our staff uses a variety of teaching techniques to help students learn. Our private lessons one-on-one create a positive learning environment that promotes student success.
And, best of all, our fees are very competitive for one the highest driving education you will have!
 
    Provisional Instruction Permit Requirements for Minors
    If you are between 15 1/2 and 17 1/2 you must provide proof that you:
  • Are enrolled and participating in an approved integrated driver education/driver training program
  • Completed driver education and are taking driver training. Our School will give you the forms to show proof of completion.
  • Fill out the DMV application form (DL 44).
  • Obtain your parents’ or guardians’ signatures on the application form.
  • Present an acceptable birth date/legal presence document.
  • Provide your social security number.
  • Pay the required DMV application fee ($28).
  • Pass an eye exam.
  • Have your picture taken.                                                              
  • Give a thumb print                                                                             
  • Pass a law test (DMV test).
  • If you incorrectly answer nine or more questions (46 total questions) on the law test (DMV test), you must wait one week before taking it again.
  • Hold your permit for a minimum of 6 months before you apply for a license.
