Why is Behind the Wheel Training important? Behind the Wheel Training is valuable because it increases one's confidence and driving skills. Our school provides private lessons (one on one) which make students feel more comfortable and focused on their training. The State of California requires minors to take a minimum of 6 hours of professional driving instruction in order to get their provisional driver license.
Who teaches Behind the Wheel Training?
Our instructors for Behind-the-Wheel training are licensed personnel who have received professional training required by the State of California in order to get their Occupational License.
Our instructors will teach, enhance, and improve a student’s basic driving skills. Emphasis is placed on the driving test performance at the Department of Motor Vehicles, and defensive driving skills. Students receive an evaluation sheet after every driving lesson, so parents can see the progress of their teenager.
What kind of cars do we use?
The cars used for training are late model, marked and unmarked cars with automatic transmissions and dual controls which allow the students to feel more relaxed while they are learning. Our fleet of cars are regularly inspected by the State and maintained by A.S.E. certified mechanics.
Our vehicles have full coverage insurance which exceeds California State requirements for driving schools.
We offer either marked or unmarked cars upon your request.
If requested, the instructor will take the student to the Department of Motor Vehicles to take the Road Test and obtain his/her Driver's License (Charges Apply).
